How CompareYourGPU decides what to publish, where its numbers come from, and what happens when something is wrong.

Who publishes this site
CompareYourGPU is published by Jose Francisco Ortiz Vicente, Hernán Cortés 39, 30560 Alguazas, Murcia, Spain. Questions, corrections and data submissions go to joseortizvicente19@gmail.com.
Where each kind of number comes from
The site separates four kinds of information and never presents one as another. The methodology page sets out the rules in full; this is the summary.
- Specifications come from the manufacturer's own published figures. Where sources disagree, the card page says so instead of picking silently.
- A current price appears only when it was observed on a named listing on a stated date, and it is shown with both. Prices observed in euros are converted to US dollars at the exchange rate recorded with them. Anything else is shown as launch MSRP and labelled as such.
- Performance indices and frame-rate ranges are CompareYourGPU estimates from a documented model, labelled as estimates wherever they appear. Measured frame rates are published only when they can be attributed to a named, linkable measurement.
- Summaries, strengths and weaknesses, and each game's demand class are editorial judgement. They are written by CompareYourGPU, grounded in the specifications on the page, and listed as judgement on the methodology page.
What is never done
No figure is invented. A value CompareYourGPU has not recorded is shown as missing rather than estimated in silence. A gap in the data is never allowed to make a product look better or worse than the data supports.
No manufacturer, retailer or advertiser can buy a ranking, a placement or a review, and the site does not accept payment for coverage. Affiliate commission is not an input to any calculation: a graphics card record has no field it could influence.
How the content is made
The text, comparisons and code on this site are drafted with AI-assisted tools and are published only after the publisher approves them.
The AI does not supply facts. Every specification, price and score comes from the data records and the documented formulas described above, and a statement that cannot be traced to a source is not published.
Keeping content current
Every card page, guide and comparison shows when it was last updated. Verified prices carry the date they were observed and are flagged as they age; the methodology page lists the age bands.
When the site changes in a way that makes an earlier statement wrong, the statement is corrected and, if the error was material, recorded on the corrections page.
Affiliate links and advertising
Some retailer links are affiliate links, and the site may earn a commission when a visitor buys through one. They are marked as sponsored and described on the affiliate disclosure page. No advertisement is served at the time of writing. When advertising is enabled it will be labelled as such and kept out of the recommendation flow and the legal pages.
Corrections
If you find an error, email joseortizvicente19@gmail.com with the page address and, where you can, a link to the manufacturer's own figure. Material corrections are listed with their date on the corrections page.
